The "Hawaiian Chieftain" is a throwback to another era of sailing.
She is a replica of a typical European merchant trader of the turn of the nineteenth
century. Her hull shape and rigging are similar to those of Spanish explorer's ships used
in the expeditions of the late eighteenth century along the California coast. The
Chieftain is Coast Guard certified to carry up to 47 passengers. For overnight
journeys she sleeps up to twenty crew and passengers in three areas. To catch a taste of
high seas adventure from a time gone by, treat your party to a character-filled charter on
the Hawaiian Chieftain.
